The local organizing committee cordially invites you to the International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE 2013), the 14th biannual conference organized by the Division of Chemistry and the Environment (DCE) of the European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS) which will be held from 25th to 28th June 2013 in Barcelona, Spain and will continue in the tradition of the precedent ICCE 2011 that took place in Zurich and was attended by approximately 500 delegates from 52 countries.

ICCE provides a unique communication and discussion platform for environmental scientists with emphasis on chemistry.

The main targets of ICCE 2013 are:

  • To link pioneering research with existing and up-coming environmental issues.
  • To discuss fundamental and applicable aspects related to the fate of chemicals in the environment.
  • To generate awareness for emerging contaminants.

ICCE 2013 will be hosted by Catalan Chemical Society and the Royal Spanish Chemical Society.

This invitation is addressed to environmental scientists in Europe and elsewhere engaged by academic and governmental institutions as well as by industry. You are all warmly welcomed to present and discuss your most recent research data at ICCE 2013. Outstanding keynote speakers will review and stimulate the interest in specific fields of interest. The scientific programme will be completed by special satellite events and by exhibitors presenting latest equipment and services in the field of environmental chemistry. Last but not least, a great social programme is awaiting delegates at ICCE 2013.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Barcelona, capital from Catalonia and great representative of the Mediterranean gastronomy culture and way of life.
